Will my 4-stroke outboard come with engine crankcase oil pre-filled?

NO! Four-stroke outboards are not filled with oil from the factory due to shipping purposes. Before operating your four-stroke outboard for the first time you must add oil to the crankcase to avoid severe engine damage. Four-stroke engines use SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 motor oil.
